“Understanding the social world through film”
The first Ethnografilm festival will be held from 17–20 April 2014 in Paris, France. The film festival, sponsored by the ISSC, will screen a selection of diverse works by documentary and academic filmmakers. The organisers have received more than 400 film submissions to date.
Ethnografilm seeks to enhance our understanding of the social world through film and will be held in Paris’ Ciné 13 Théâtre. The historic site for French film premieres in the 18th arrondissement (1 Avenue Junot), opened by the renowned French filmmaker Claude LeLouch (A Man and a Woman) as a site for screening in 1981.
