Feeding the planet, energy for life – call for papers

Glocalism is a new online peer-reviewed, cross-disciplinary journal that aims to stimulate increased awareness and knowledge of the new dynamics that characterise ‘glocal’ reality.  Focusing on culture, politics and innovation, the journal will provide a platform to develop systematic thought around these issues and contribute in-depth analyses of ‘glocalisation’ and all that it means for society today.
ISSC President, Alberto Martinelli, is on Glocalism‘s direction committee, as is Saskia Sassen based at Columbia University, New York, and who collaborated with the ISSC on the World Social Science Report 2010: Digital Divides. The call for papers for the next issue of the journal ends 31 January; the journal will be published in mid March. The editors are interested in receiving articles for potential publication on the topic: “Feeding the planet: energy for life”. See how to submit a proposal for further information on the journal and on how to submit an article.
