Oslo launch for World Social Science Report in Aprilpublished: March 13, 2014
UNESCO and the Research Council of Norway are holding a seminar and discssion in April to mark the Norwegian launch the World Social Science Report 2013: Changing Global Environments, jointly published last year in Paris by the ISSC, UNESCO and the OECD.
Heide Hackmann, Executive Director of the International Social Science Council, will present the report. Professor Karen O’Brien, University of Oslo, and Asuncion Lera St. Clair, Research Director at CICERO – who both contributed articles to the report, will discuss and comment on the issues raised in the report with Professor Gudmund Hernes, FAFO and current board member and former president of the ISSC.
