Skills and Inequality – Listen to the keynote address by Professor Marius Busemeyer

What is the role of education in addressing inequalities and injustices? Professor Marius Busemeyer explored the links between skills and inequality in a recorded keynote address to celebrate the presentation of the 2015 Stein Rokkan Prize for Busemeyer’s book “Skills and Inequality: Partisan Politics and the Political Economy of Education Reforms in Western Welfare States” (Cambridge University Press, 2014).

The 2015 Stein Rokkan Prize was presented to Professor Busemeyer by ISSC Executive Director Mathieu Denis on November 7 2016, during the ISSC’s Transformations to Sustainability workshop in New Delhi, India.

The Stein Rokkan Prize for Comparative Social Science Research is awarded for very substantial and original contributions in comparative social science research. The announcement of the 2015  winner, together with a full laudatio by the jury is available here.
