Website launched for 2018 World Social Science Forum

The hosts of the 2018 World Social Science Forum have launched a website for the Forum, which will take place from the 25th to 28th of September 2018 in Fukuoka, Japan. The theme of the 2018 World Social Science Forum is Security and Equality for Sustainable Futures.

We are pleased to invite you to find out more about the Forum at: www.wssf2018.org.

The tri-annual World Social Science Forum is a flagship activity of the ISSC. The 2018 Forum will be held at Fukuoka Convention Center, hosted by Kyushu University and supported by Science Council of Japan (SCJ) and Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

World Social Science Fora convene researchers, funders, policymakers and other stakeholders from all over the world to discuss important societal challenges, take stock of social science contributions and capacities, and make recommendations for future research, practice and policy.

A call for nominations to the Scientific Committee will be released shortly, and a call for session proposals is expected to open in June 2017.
