The topic chosen for the first conference “Food Futures” is an invitation to think creatively of the potential for change and transformation of our food systems and how research can help define and achieve these visions. The conference will provide many spaces for discussion around the major changes that our food systems may undergo in different parts of the world given current and forecast pressures, opportunities to transform our food consumption, production and distribution patterns, and scenarios and pathways to live more sustainably.
