Network on Gender, Globalization and Democratization (GGD)

The ISSC-sponsored Gender, Globalization and Democratization (GGD) Network aims to provide sound and reliable knowledge gathered from all parts of the world that can be used to improve the social, economic, and political position of women in this era of globalization. GGD holds regular workshops/seminars and promotes publication by network members. GGD has undertaken, at the ISSC’s request, to conduct a scan of global gender projects, checking in particular for similarities of focus and methodology. It is anticipated that this exercise will begin in Spring 2014.
