World Social Science Fellows Programme
The Fellows Programme aims to create the next generation of social science leaders. Those who can ask the questions that matter — and answer them.
The Fellows programme selects Fellows to participate in seminars that focus on global challenges and priorities (with particular relevance to developing countries). Around 20 Fellows from around the world are selected for each seminar, lasting anywhere from a few days to more than a week. At seminars, Fellows work together with other participants to identify pressing research questions and to design innovative interdisciplinary research strategies. Seminar activities are meant to be the beginning of new international research collaborations. Fellows take the lead for most of the work and discussions at seminars; working with international leading specialists, policy makers, practitioners, activists, and other relevant stakeholders to enrich the reflections that will lead to the new answers to the problems we seek.
